Health Ministry
While all Ministries are important, this ministry is very important to help us stay healthy so that we are able to carry on all the other works of the ministry of God.
This ministry is run by licensed RN’s, LPN’s, CAN’s and Student Nurses that see to the well being and health of all our members that take advantage of this service. They keep blood pressure and blood sugar records for members and keep us informed on all health issues.
They coordinate blood drives and health fairs to keep us knowledgeable on what we need to help our family members, ourselves, and others. They provide help for those that may become ill during a worship service and assist in getting the proper help for that person.
A medical room with a monitor is provided for those that are not sick enough to go home, but just need to lay down for a while or don’t need to be around crowds.
